This week's neglected book

Married with Zombies by Jesse Petersen
Series: Living With the Dead #1
Publication Date: September 1, 2010
Publisher: Orbit
A heartwarming tale of terror in the middle of the zombie apocalypse.

Meet Sarah and David.

Once upon a time they met and fell in love. But now they're on the verge of divorce and going to couples' counseling. On a routine trip to their counselor, they notice a few odd things - the lack of cars on the highway, the missing security guard, and the fact that their counselor, Dr. Kelly, is ripping out her previous client's throat.

Meet the Zombies.

Now, Sarah and David are fighting for survival in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. But, just because there are zombies, doesn't mean your other problems go away. If the zombies don't eat their brains, they might just kill each other.

Why did I add Married with Zombies to my bookshelf?

I bought this book several years ago because I thought it sounded like a lot of fun.  I actually read a lot of zombie books anymore so I am not sure why I haven't pulled this one out of the pile yet.  It looks like some of my Goodreads friends loved it and others like it.  I am pretty sure that this one will be a winner for me.

A Quick Update

It is July and I move in about a week and a half.  There is so much to do!  I am not sure if I have ever mentioned the fact that I used to have an eBay store selling dollhouse items.  I have a room filled with toys from that time period and trying to get those out of my house and into the hands of kids has been quite the chore.  I tried giving stuff away and wasn't getting a lot of takers so I am posting big boxes of things online for cheap just to get rid of it.  It is working but it is quite the process.  Hopefully, I will be back to normal on the blog before we reach the end of July.

What are your thoughts? Have you read this book?  Would you recommend it to others?

I'll be crossing my fingers that your toy collection gets sold up soon so you can work on other things with the move.

  8. I don't think I have read any books featuring zombies, but nothing like a zombie attack to help mend a marriage.
