December 2019 Wrap Up

December 2019

December always seems to a very busy month.  There is just so much to do and never enough time to do it.  We had our first snowstorm of the season.  I am not a fan of snow but my boss sent us home mid-morning and I am a big fan of leaving work early.

My daughter came home from college about halfway through the month.  I have enjoyed having her home but she does seem a bit stir crazy at the moment.  My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary this month.  We attended 4 separate family gatherings during the month to celebrate the holiday and a birthday.

I am linking this post to the Monthly Wrap-Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

  2. I think you've done great with your reading considering all the stress and upheaval you've had with all the college visits and Mr Carole's job and a new puppy! We haven't had any snow yet-I like it as long as I'm indoors and don't need to go out in it as I have no sense of balance!

  3. Wow, your December sounds a lot busier than mine. Everyone seems to be loving Red, White & Royal Blue right now. I put it on my TBR list because I’m curious about the hype. I hope you’re having a great January!

  16. Happy Anniversary, Carole! It sounds like you had a nice December. I have never lived anywhere where it snows. I am not a fan of the cold though, especially ice, and so I imagine I wouldn't like it much.

An Easy Death is one of my poll options for this month's TBR List poll. I can't wait to read your thoughts on it. I am so glad you are enjoying the Chloe Neill's books!

I hope you have a great January, Carole!

  19. What a wonderful month of reads. I see some familiar books here but I'm not surprised because I think our eclectic reading tastes are very similar.

  20. I think that's a great month of reading with all the other activities. I find I'm listening more than reading when I am so busy.
