From New York Times best-selling author Meghan March comes the epic conclusion to the Dirty Mafia Duet - available in audio first!

I never expected to be anyone’s white knight. That’s not a role I’ve ever played.

But when the Casso crime family shifts into uncharted territory, they’re looking for a new hero, and they’re looking for me - Cannon Freeman, the black sheep.

But my time in disgrace is at an end.

It’s my turn to rise up and save the people who matter most to me.

Even if my family has never given a damn about me, I will not let them fall. More than anything, I will not let her fall.

One thing I know is true - in my life, nothing is ever what it seems.

White Knight is the conclusion of the Dirty Mafia Duet and should be listened to following Black Sheep.

My Review

I thought that this was a wonderful conclusion to Cannon and Drew's story.  The previous book in this duet, Black Sheep, ended with a pretty big cliffhanger so I was really eager to get back to the story and find out what would happen.  I am not a fan of cliffhangers in most cases but I can deal with them when there isn't too much of a wait for the next book in the series.  I really did enjoy the overall story.

Drew and Cannon were great together.  I liked watching them grow together over the course of the duet.  They had a lot of chemistry together and I thought that their feelings for each other seemed very genuine.  I think that both characters also grew individually during this story.  They both learned a lot about themselves and what they valued and wanted out of their life.

This book had some pretty exciting scenes and I was worried about both Cannon and Drew more than once.  I enjoyed getting to see a bit more of the Casso crime family and its history.  There was a bit of a mystery in the story towards the end that really had me guessing.  There was at least one surprise in the book that I didn't see coming at all.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York both did a fantastic job with the narration.  I thought that they were both able to bring the story to life.  Their voices work together really well with this kind of story and I love finding books that they both narrate.  I thought that they added a lot of excitement and emotion to the story.  I had no problems listening for hours at a time and enjoyed the story a bit more because of their narration.

I would recommend this series to others.  This book was a great combination of excitement and romance with wonderful characters that I wanted to learn more about.  I definitely plan to read more of Meghan March's work in the future.

I received a copy of this audiobook from Audible Originals.

  1. oh it sounds like an exciting ending to a cool series...

  2. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York is a dream team. Lol. I have a pretty so-so experience with Megan March's books in the past but willing to give this audio a try for the narrators. :)

  3. New to me series. I agree about cliffhangers being okay if the wait is short. Always good when a book has you so vested in the characters and makes you nervous for them.

  4. Sounds like I need to check this duet out and soon!

  5. SOunds good, and I do want to listen to these narrators together again

  8. I am glad this concluded well! It sounds like a great series.

  9. A romance is good when you can get the excitement in there, and also still really like the romance and the chemistry and having the focus be on the characters. Sounds like a very well written book :)
