Stacking the Shelves #141

I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

My Life
Busy, busy, busy seems to be my life lately.  Homecoming was last weekend and I sat out in the cold to see my daughter march in her final high school parade.  I  then spent the day helping her get ready for the big dance and had some fun with the other parents while photos were taken.

Work was pretty busy and I won't be getting too much of a break this weekend.  The marching band will be competing in an all-day competition today.  My daughter is scheduled to be at school by 9:00 am and according to the schedule everything won't be over until 11:30 pm.  It is going an exhausting day for sure.  This is the final marching band competition that my daughter will be participating in during high school.  I have mixed feeling about seeing everything come to an end.

I will be around to visit other blogs just as I can so please be patient with me.

Books Added
Exit Strategy by Martha Wells (Library)

I was lucky enough to get my name of the list at my library for Exit Strategy early enough that I didn't have to wait too long for it.  Since it is a short piece, I hope to be able to finish it sometime in the next few days.

What books do you add to your shelves this week?
Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave a link to your own STS post!

I've seen Martha Wells' titles around lately, getting good buzz, so perhaps I should try one soon. Enjoy!

Neat that you got Exit Strategy so quickly. Our library doesn't have her books. I've put in for them to be purchased so we shall see. :)

Looks like you and your daughter will be resting on Sunday after such a long day. :)
