March 2018
March is already over. It is really hard to believe. I feel like it rained the entire month. I am sure that it really didn't but it kind of feels like it did. Quite a few things happened during the month. There were band concerts, prom dresses to buy, medical appointments, college visits, a book signing, kids to play with, dogs to walk, and a week away from work. Some days were relaxing while others were anything but. Overall, I think it was a pretty decent month and I have to admit that I am kind of surprised that I managed to fit 15 books into the mix with everything else going on in my life.

How was your month? Do you have any reading or blogging goals for April?
What a busy and productive March you had, I wish I could say the same book review wise but I was a slacker and was away the last 2 weeks of March. I look forward to your review of The Good Luck Sister as I have this on my to read list.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with taking a bit of a break, Cindy. I am really looking forward to starting The Good Luck Sister.
Deletethat's a good bilan there!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Melliane!
Deletewhich book is it that you DNF? Did I read the review? you hardly DNF so I am curious now
ReplyDeleteI gave up on Nights at Seaside by Addison Cole. I couldn't stand the narrator and I wasn't all that impressed by the story. I don't usually write reviews for books I don't finish. Of course, I rarely dnf - maybe twice a year or so.
DeleteIt really was a fast moving busy month. Way to go on reading four blogger shames and getting through a nice stack even though you were busy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great April, Carole!
I was actually kind of surprised by the numbers when I totalled everything up for this post. It was a busy month for sure.
DeleteYou always seem busy, so I’m impressed that you read so much. I’ll be interested to hear what you think of Only Human. I read the first book in that series and then failed to continue with the series. I hope you have a great April!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I can't wait to get started with Only Human. I have read and re-read the first two books and can't wait to see what happens next.
DeleteSounds like a busy month!! And wow for fitting in that many books too. I want to get to Good Luck Sister this month too. Have a great April!
ReplyDeleteIt was really busy at times and quiet at other times. I am ready for some Jill Shalvis :)
DeleteWow! Fifteen books, so impressive. I hope April will be an even better month for you.
ReplyDeleteI have my fingers crossed that April will be a great month.
DeleteHow did you fit 15 books in with all that going on?! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI listen to audiobooks at work which helps increase my totals :)
DeleteI can't believe how fast March flew by! 15 books is awesome though, wow! I really want to get to Lake Silence. And I might have to go back to the Sleeping Giants series, I've only read book one but now that two and three are out I kinda wanna go back. :)
ReplyDeleteI really have been enjoying the Sleeping Giants series, Greg. If you like audiobooks, the audios for this series are amazing. I hope you get a chance to read Lake Silence soon!
DeleteOh wow. It's been so long since I've had a 15 books read in a month! You are on fire. ;D
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThat's a lot of reading.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I still want to read more :)
Deletewow 15 books, I think that is amazing :D I might have read like 14 last month and that was actually quiet a bit for me.
ReplyDeleteAwesome stats for netgalley, super jealous
Thanks, Lily! I am really working hard on catching up those old NetGalley books this year. I have not been adding to the pile like I used to and I have a goal of bumping my percentage by 1% every month.
DeleteLooks like you have a very busy but productive month and I agree that it seems like all it has done is rain...lol.
ReplyDeleteGreat job!!
Stormi
Thanks, Stormi! I am ready for some warmer temps and sunshine :)
DeleteI've only heard of a handful of these books, but they look good! I read 29 books in March and Jenn (My blog mate) read 46 and I want to beat her, or at least get close to her count for April.

How I wish I was able to read that many books in a month!
DeleteSounds like you had a great reading month! I'm very curious about Only Human.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get started with that book!
DeleteWoo! That is quite the busy month for sure. And some nice reading :) Totally hear ya on the rain. We've had months like that where it feels like it's been raining for every and a week. lol
ReplyDeleteI just want to see some sunshine and leave the coat at home. That's all I am asking :)
DeleteI'm with you with the rain! Sounds like you had a super busy month though most of it fun. And 15 books is seriously impressive! Hope April is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWe definitely had some busy moments in the month. I hope April is a calm month.
DeleteI had a fantastic book month-my goal for April is to get alot more read and reviewed!! I won all kinds of wonderful books, plus bought a few. I did DNF one though!!

Congrats on all the wins, Joann!
DeleteI can't believe March has already passed. You had a very productive month, I'm envious because I slacked off on blogging in March. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteI tend to have my slower months during marching band season at the beginning of the school year. We all need a break from time to time.
DeleteLooks like you read some pretty great books this month. Hope April is a good reading month as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Abby!
DeleteWow! You sure had a busy month in March! I also can't believe that March is already over. It seems like it went by so fast! I hope you have a wonderful April!

ReplyDeleteMelanie @ Hot Listens & Rabid Reads & Books of My Heart
It is April and it is snowing right now. Where is my spring?! This is not normal for this area.
DeleteThat IS a lot of reading for a busy month. I agree that the weather has been so wonky lately---it's snowing here today!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
We had snow over the weekend but it seems like maybe this week will be better. I hope so!
Delete15 books in a busy month is no small feat! Well done! XD
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Delete15 books-- that's great! I'm impressed (only managed to eek out 3 books this past month).
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anna!
