Stacking the Shelves #93

I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

Yay!  I finally got the quieter week that I have really been wanting.  I went to work everyday and then was able to come home and stay home.  I still didn't get as much reading done as I would have liked and fell behind with the blog a bit.  We did find out that my daughter earned a seat in the All-Suburban honor band so that was pretty exciting.

Books for Review
Runaway Groom by Lauren Layne (NetGalley)

I grabbed this one as soon as I saw Lauren Layne's name on the cover.  I am not a huge fan of wedding themes but I enjoyed the first in the series and trust Layne.

Books Purchased
The Wolf Within by Cynthia Eden (Kindle Freebie)
The Fallen Kingdom by Elizabeth May (Kindle Purchase)
Did I Mention I Love You? by Estelle Maskame (Kindle Freebie)
You and Only You by Sharon Sala (Kindle Freebie)

I can't pass up a freebie or a deal.  I only paid for one of these books and it was on sale for $1.99.  I now have the first and third books in The Falconer Series.  Hopefully, I can catch book 2 on sale soon.

What books do you add to your shelves this week?
Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave a link to your own STS post!

  1. This was a week of grabbing books in series I follow other than one apocalypse download and a pile of samples to try! That should cover my samples posts for the rest of the year! Have a good weekend!

    1. I do like a mix of books and get bored if I read too many of any kind of book.

  21. I keep seeing Lauren Layne's books everywhere! I'm starting to think I need to try them already and see what's so great about them. I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on Runaway Groom - wedding themed books are always so much fun. Have a great week, Carole! Hopefully it's another quiet one. :)
