Stacking the Shelves #71

I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews

This was a pretty calm week which was a good thing.  My daughter finished up her sophomore year of high school.  I can't believe that my baby will be a junior next year.  Time really flies by when you aren't looking.  My twin niece and nephew turned 3 this week.  I am going to let each of them make a bear at Build a Bear for their birthday this weekend.  I can't wait!

I hope that all of my U.S. readers enjoy their Memorial Day weekend!

Digital Books

Seeing Red by Sandra Brown (NetGalley)
Knight on the Texas Plains by Linda Broday (NetGalley)
The Cajun Doctor by Sandra Hill (Edelweiss)
The Alice Network by Kate Quinn (Edelweiss)
Lost and Found Sisters by Jill Shalvis (Edelweiss)

I am really excited about this group of books!  I always look forward to getting my hands on a new Sandra Brown book so I was really excited to be approved for Seeing Red.  Jill Shalvis is another author that I always have good luck with so I am thrilled to get a chance to read her upcoming novel.  Linda Broday, Sandra Hill, and Kate Quinn are authors that I haven't tried yet so I am eager to see what I think of their books and writing style.

Print Books

Small Hours by Jennifer Kitses (Publisher - Grand Central Publishing)

I thought that the premise for this story sounds really good so I am looking forward to reading this book in the next few weeks.

  18. Build-A-Bear is so much fun. :-) I am sure the kids will love it. A junior already! Where does the time go? Mine will be in first grade this next school year.

All your new books look good. I'm especially interested in The Alice Network, although Shalvis's book also caught my eye. I haven't had luck with Sandra Hill, but hopefully you will enjoy her work. Maybe I just haven't read the right books by her.

I hope you have a great week, Carole!
