Stacking the Shelves #61

I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews

I am now officially on vacation or really a staycation since I am not planning on going anywhere.  My teenager is off to Disney World this week with her school band so Mr. Random Life decided to take the week off and just hang out at the house.  We have a few projects around the house that we want to get done and I hope to get a lot of reading done.

Digital Books

Where She Belongs by Cindy Procter-King (Won @ Delighted Reader)
Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth (Kindle Purchase)

I have really been lucky over at Delighted Reader during the past few weeks.  I think I have won 4 books during The Great Pick Up Line feature that they held and I really do appreciate it!  I bought Carve the Mark for my daughter more than anything.  I really don't know if I will ever read it but she wanted to read it on her bus ride to Florida and it was on sale last weekend so I went ahead and bought it for her.

What books do you add to your shelves this week?
Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave a link to your own STS post!

  3. Another week of zombies, apocalypses and urban fantasy on the book haul side of things and reading about lots of monsters! I feel like I could use an actual holiday but there doesn't seem to be one on the horizon at the moment! Congrats on the book wins!

  12. Congrats on the wins from Delighted Reader! Shari and Sophia are awesome. I won a signed book - Pucked Off by Helena Hunting. I love hockey romances, and the book is an NA one, so I'm excited. :D I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

  13. Staycations can be nice to recharge the batteries and make you feel good about getting some things done, too. Enjoy that stack of book wins- so glad you could try some new ones that way through our event. I've been curious about that new Veronica Roth, too, though I've still got to read her Divergent series.

    Enjoy your staycation week, Carole!

  16. A staycation sounds heavenly! We were at my Grandparents' for 8 days and I've never been so glad to be home with all my own stuff! Staycations will be high on my list for awhile. Hope your daughter has a fantastic time at Disney World. It's one of my favorite places. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

  17. Enjoy your vacation! I could use one of those. :-) Good luck with your projects. I have a few I'd like to work on--that I need to work on, but finding the time is difficult. Your new books both look great. I hope you enjoy them. Have a great week, Carole!

  18. I have heard quite a few controversial things about Carve the Mark! But I also really want to read it because well, I loved Divergent and I want to try a book by Veronica Roth which is outside of that series...
