Stacking the Shelves #32

I am really excited to participate in Stacking the Shelves, a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews

It was a pretty average week at my house.  I did meet my oldest daughter's boyfriend on Wednesday which was a first.  I am not usually allowed to meet her boyfriends.  I don't know why because I know that I am not embarrassing...lol.

Digital Books

Magic Binds by Ilona Andrews (NetGalley)
Brave the Heat by Sara Humphreys (Kindle Freebie)
Rush by Even Silver (Kindle Freebie)

I literally squealed when I got the email that I had been approved for Magic Binds.  That approval really made my week and the book was absolutely amazing.  I also found a couple of freebies on Amazon that I couldn't resist but I did try this week not to add to much to the TBR pile.

What books do you add to your shelves this week?
Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave a link to your own STS post!

  4. I am so glad that you loved Magic Binds. It has definitely made it to the number 1 spot on my favorite 2016 releases. God, I wish the next book was here already. I had went months without downloading any freebies, but there were a couple that I saw this week that looked really interesting and have high ratings. Hopefully they won't sit unread for so long. Happy Saturday!

    1. I didn't want Magic Binds to end. When I got to the last page, I wanted to keep going. I don't actively look for freebies but when I seen one that look good, I do go ahead and grab. No stress about reading it soon. Thank you!

  7. Haha! You must be becoming less of an embarrassment if you were allowed to meet the boyfriend. ;)

Oh neat! I squeal too when I get approved of the books I really want to read. Looking forward to your thoughts on Magic Binds.

    1. I know...I was surprised that I was deemed worthy of meeting the boyfriend. I am so happy to have a hobby that still makes me so darn happy at times. Magic Binds was just as good as I had hoped...maybe better.

  8. I haven't had to deal with my kids having boyfriends, and girlfriends...yet. Your daughter's boyfriend is probably terrified of you! Ha! Have a fun week.

  14. LOL! I love that you said you're not usually allowed to meet her boyfriends. That is so funny! My parents weren't allowed to meet my sister's boyfriend either, until like, a year later. My parents haven't had to deal with me and boyfriends... yet. ;)

I loved Rush! I'm glad you got it with the sale. That trilogy is one of my favorites.

I hope you enjoy all of your new books! Have a fabulous week, Carole. =)
