New Releases - October 28, 2014

October 28, 2014
It's Tuesday!  That means it is time to make a little bit of room on the bookshelves, load up your ereader, or make your way to your local library.  In other words - It is time to get your hands on a new book!
Here are some of the books releasing today that you may want to keep an eye out for:
There are a lot of great books being released this week!  I am so excited about the new Ilona Andrews book that I am starting it right away.  I have already had the chance to read the John Connolly book and I am interested in Amy Poehler's book.  I have not had the chance to read Patrick Rothfuss just bet but plan to someday soon.  I generally do like Nora Roberts every once in awhile but I need to read the first two book in the series before jumping into this one.

Which books are you excited to read?

  1. Those sound like some interesting titles, Carole! I haven't heard of most of them, except perhaps Burn for Me (though I've never read it). Reading is just fantastic, isn't it?! I love the feel of holding a book, but I finally caved and got an e-reader to save some space.

I saw that you like paranormal stories; have you ever heard of the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher?

  2. Thanks, Eve! I am reading Burn for Me right now and I am loving it. I love reading - curling up with a good book is really my favorite thing to do. I love my kindle. I actually have several kindles and my favorite is the paperwhite. I can adjust the font and don't have to worry about light so it is the perfect reading experience for me. What do you think of your ereader so far?

I have read all of the Dresden Files series except for the newest one which I hope to get to soon. I am actually listening to the series while I work out right now. I am currently on the second audiobook and it is fantastic. The narrator does a fantastic job.

    1. Wow, several? I love mine. I have the Paperwhite, and I completely agree that it is a fantastic e-reader. I tried the Kindle Fire for awhile, and it was certainly very nice, but the Paperwhite is just perfect. Great for toting around dozens of books but for the space of one!

Woohoo! Same goes for me. I am currently rereading the series for the second time (about to finish Dead Beat), so that I can refresh my memory for the newest book. And yes, James Marsters was a great choice for narrator. I plan to buy the audiobooks sometime, but have only heard little parts of them here and there so far.
